In 2012 Amazon expanded to Berlin with it being the home-base of the AWS OpsWorks team. The Amazon Development Center Dresden is located in the heart of the city right next to the scenic Elbe river valley. It is part of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and is focused on the operating systems and hypervisors used throughout the AWS infrastructure. It's also the home of the Tapper test automation system.
